When She Smiles

Once upon a time in New York City
I came face to face with the dawn light so pretty
warming my bones with golden rays
spreading out like a blanket over those frozen days
and then I saw her face
then she gave me the first taste
of her honey sweet love
and it felt like heaven above
was right here in my arms
she baptised me with her charms
and so it goes
and now I know

When she smiles
all my cares float away
when she smiles
I want to be with her forever and a day

There a came a time in late November
when I came to live with her
we're happy as bunnies and angels
and coins dropped in the wishing well
and I saw her smile
cheeks blushing, coloring her style
in pink and strawberry red
as she climbs back into bed
and right back into my heart
she always plays the lead part
in the musicals in my soul
and so I was made whole

When she smiled
all my pain washed away
when she smiled
I want to be with her forever and a day

if I could
I surely would
and the clouds burst on the city
but we'll stay warm in perfect serenity

Every single time she kisses me
I can hear the distant springtime's melodies
and I dedicate my word pictures to her
in the early chill of December
she burns my worries to ashes
I dive right off her eyelashes
and into the wellspring in her eyes
such a beautiful sunrise
and the daylight is amazing me
together we discover a shining blue sea
inside us, swimming, wading
when I wake up, always I'm anticipating

When she smiles
all the past is meaningless
when she smiles
she is the definition of happiness

for me
she makes me see
the clouds giving way to green
and we'll stay like this for eternity

Once upon a late autumn grey
an Aries lady decided to stay
forever and a day
and I can't help but love her when she smiles that way

sounds like she's smiling you a river...which will endow you with many fond memories, setting you both on a smooth path...uncharted with no worries...wonderful!
