Sunrise, The crimson, of the bright star at sunrise, Illuminating the sky it grows on the horizon. I watch the scene slowly change, as I speed, Road bending. On the distance of miles, I travel, towards an unknown prize. The hum, the sweet sound of wheels, soothes my mind. While grazed of thought. the star makes movement, Free of passive emotions, I close my eyes, heart sent, As I lay swept in morning fever, searching for answers one must find Panic, The reasons stay unfocused, packed within turbulent waves. Losing my breath, I cannot process escaping thoughts. Oh! let the madness end, avoid with knowledgeable shots. The sweat trickles down leaving tracks of fighting brave. But! These vivid experiences weaken my defense Not long may I hold the insanity! Of questions unanswered. The timid voices of lost fortune, and prolonged cancer Time slows and the clock ticks on, miles have passed, without sense Realization, Calm waves of fire ease away, leaving ash in their wake The wheels turn the panic, erasing it from mind. Reclining I fight against the slumber, every waking moment a sign. The star is in heightened midpoint, I warm for my own sake. Wrapped in this bounty, for no ones judging sound. I scan intently, again, watching the trees pass. Its been ages since these feet have touched ground, or evergreen grass Hours must pass, but soon, of what i know, I will love on unknown ground If my poems could talk they would mean more than the words |
