there’s a spot
in the heart --
a sacred place
obscured
by clouds of emotions
from life and everything
passing by

ah!
the swishes and curves
of things moving
in stealthy steps :
the unkind cuts
of movie reels where
a singular moment
lives denied

yet
there is the exhilaration
of the sum of all totals
captured in denial

very transparent
though
opaque

oh! wonderful love

passing shadows
