There is beauty in a shattered glass If you seek to find it there Look closely and you’ll discover The connection to prayer There will be hosanna’s sung Convoluted songs of praise And lest the singers forget We’ll remember it for days That one single moment When a life on earth ceased A soft sigh, a hesitant breath a soul flew upwards - released So many lives were touched Like crystal veins in broken glass A life ended as it began With faith and love and class Sometimes in the shatter There is beauty to behold No more pain or sorrow No fear no growing cold Look through the glass and see This season to arise The springtime of heaven’s garden The comfort in God’s eyes |

what a wondeful view of death - it is hard for those left - but yes, there is beauty in shattered glass - Susan If I wander far enough, long enough, will I finally know . . . |

Sharon that was simply the most graceful poem I will ever read. Yes, there is definitely beauty in broken glass, and also in that wonderful heart of yours. |

Sometimes in the shatter There is beauty to behold Came back to get these lines, as they are so very, very true. Taking them as a gentle reminder. |
