The Color of Mist The color of mist powders my face and Touches my lace with dew drops grace It taints my stroll and paints my soul Guides me to a heavenly goal It stays the doubts from my pleasure Leads me to the rainbows treasure Adds to the mystery of the brook Sings the song of a storybook The veil of mist hides a page And stays the doubts of the aged It keeps you on a timeless course While drifting with a misty force It’s the body of a veil That can be read by simple Braille By wrapping it around your ire And warming in your hearts desire It is the white that haunts the night And then becomes the hews of light |
