standing on a shadow's lace

You Echo My Chambers

you echo my chambers
in your satin darkness
somehow
I know I fit
in your hollow
arm to shoulder
washed there
by nightly nights
of loneliness’ erosion
a self imposed prison
in waiting
I too know of wait
and dreamed of tasting salt
from tongue licked skin
no dream of wakened vanish
I long to feel such touch
in the measure
of no distance
strength is only
justified by weakness
and need gives
way to want

just some words cut out
from the diary of my heart
