Juxtaposition Two entries: quote: ~*~ Juxtapose: Those who would build greater the life of a country, seem to be doing so by tearing down the life of a life…God be with you, Terri Schiavo… ~*~ Give us your highs, then lend us your lows, your voice rose, but lowered in your dark, God be with you, Michael Jackson… ~*~ “I will not be queen” speaks the consort of a once-beloved… all know who should have been, gone early through flickers of flame’s demise… ~*~ All around other countries fight fevers and death and what will never be, is lost to them in the moonlight… ~*~ I sit the line of tennis balls, endless courts and boring halls watching some grim of mindless whim and wonder where they go…these thoughts… of minds that wander, wondering at such and how they rule our lives, but yet give touch to lesser men, and we, who are subject to change… of all of life that was left as “strange”… when mind’set can choose to end nonsense, yes, this, and seal it with a heart, and miss not just revelry of man…but gift of heart, and love, we can change it all, but still abide by ties… yet the shift is posed, to Juxtisize… when positions tilt, with lilt and silt, covering, what times will bear, the barely there, of improper times, though hands be mimed… yes, change is at hand… where once, we rhymed. Seasons changed, yet I would find… the touch, sublime. |

All around other countries fight fevers and death and what will never be, is lost to them in the moonlight… impressive line of thinking here...certainly something to ponder upon |

Juxtapose: Those who would build greater the life of a country, seem to be doing so by tearing down the life of a life…God be with you, Terri Schiavo… standing there holding a lighted candle for her..in deepest prayer, and greater anger for our political leaders....what in the world could they be thinking...what is happening to our world Kari? We're weaker and more blood thirsty, with no care to whom carries the expense, no compassion.... forgive me for ranting, hun, this was a great poem, provoking awareness....keep those lights on!!!! Hugs to you and yours |

Sunshine! This one is so complex I will have to read it many times. As soon as my speech program mispronounced Salina (Kansas) I knew the rest of it was going to sound like brightly colored confetti so I just read through it by hand. I am confused ... but maybe I will get it. How could anyone treat Teri so horribly ... Reminds me of what happened with Cathy and Susan, and how those caretakers mistreated Midnitesun. I can not type fast enough. Maybe some day we can talk ... and I can tell you the stories. Midnitesun knows ... ... ... ... Jaime |

The only constant is change--and you know the old adage that the more things change, the more they remain the same. And mankind struggles to find it's way...in the changing times. Very thought-provoking write, Karilea! As always, with an improvement here and there, Shenachie |
