I AM I am a woman with the light of a child I want to learn wisdom for the future from the past I hear sound in all things through filtered heart glass I see poetry living in all parts of the earth I want to gain strength from the things that I fear I am a woman with the light of a child I pretend that I’m sure of myself in the day I feel in the night my child wanting to pray I touch all things gently so their truth I will know I worry about cages that won’t let me go I cry for the wasting of life and of time I am a woman with the light of a child I understand love lasts past opening doors I say finding truth is what life is for I dream of peace for each person alive I try to understand who is keeping the score I hope that most people can life reconcile I am a woman with the light of a child [This message has been edited by Martie (03-19-2005 11:33 AM).] |

She is ... The purest sweetness, a breath of fresh air, Whether posting in Passions,or commenting there. Her metaphors and imagery are the best you can read as well, When she writes of Mother Nature or her own seed, Michelle. Our poet Martie, has the purest heart, and soul Spreading love and good wishes seems her main daily goal. It's easy to see why love blooms in abundance today, "What goes around, comes around," or so they say. She is a jewel that one - a real jewel. Thanks for popping this one up. |
