The cattle in the meadow settle down for sleep; their figures as shadows wide and low over autumned fields. Now the cow comes to seek its rest in milky memories and marbled dreams. |

You must have lived in the country...no city boy could muse on a cow at twilight! Enjoyed the quiet pastoral quality of this one John. |

The last part of this makes me think "poor cows" either milked or eaten - but so is life, hmmmm? hehe- sorry about the strange interpretation - Guess it comes from growin up around cows that were meant to be eaten eventually - Enjoyed this - Susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |
