A Kind Adieux Upon the French Riviera in the summer of ninety two I met the Countess Isadora when she bid me a kind adieux. I did not wish to offend her so I responded to her in kind, her response surprised me, she said, "Wait, I have a little time." On the porch of her villa, as silky waves rolled into shore, we drank fine French wine and shared precious times that I grew to love and adore. JamesLee November11 2004 adieux-to God I commend you. |
