Alexandra …In primo luogo sopportato… You were first to say ‘Papa’, my heart replete with pride, but, I truly do admit, you frightened me, that day you did arrived… I was too afraid to hold you I thought I might squeeze you, or hold you just too tight. But through time I realized, your warm sweet love and trust, and before too long I learned to put my fears aside… You are now, as you were then, small changes through the years, through the smiles and tears, all made for perfect blend…. I still envision your cute little smile, when I would hold you and tickle your little chin. And today, when I see that same little smile you being silly, with your cute little grin memories of that first day I saw you flood through my heart again… My sweet girl, your life to me is precious, auric, and kind, and in my heart you will always be, as I first saw you, and held you in my arms… Alexandra …Ne plus ultra… You obtain knowledge as a baby bird learning to fly. Fearless, you leap and dive across your rainbow sky, you swirl in your kindness and love for all humanity, sharing all you have, with any passer-by. And, the intellectuals welcomed you too, and you have happily joined in, now, they are much the wiser, to have you as their friend. I think of you often and what new abilities you have gained and so assured in my heart, you will never employ them, in haste, or in-vain… Alexandra …Rein am Herzen… Your sweet song resides deep within my heart, melting-in with my every thought, deep within, my soul’s every part.. You are, as the cool blue sea, resting against its warm sandy shore, accommodating all who inquire, with your iridescent smile, that beautiful smile of which all who know you cannot help, but to adore… I will always remember your cute dimpled smile, you saying ‘I love you Papa,’ hugging me, and compromising my heart. That truly a beautiful memory, engraved in my thoughts and heart. From that very first day I saw you, its portrait, I deem, shall never impart… Alex: You have given me more than you could ever know, with your kindness and your joy, your sweet songs you sing and your life’s heart, aglow... Such pride of a child, you have written a volume of it...Now, give her the opportunity to read it...then lock it away, somewhere safe..for another time, far away when you once again hold a child, perhaps a grandchild. |
