Unexpressed By Larry Chadwick But known It is in there somewhere deep in my heart. I can sense it and at times almost I can touch it. A compelling urge to express my love. I know all the right moves but it is the words that seem to be out of reach. That warmth I feel from having loved you so long it fits like a glove. That tingle from remembering how you excited me from the start and knowing that you still do. The satisfaction of experiencing your unconditional love on a daily basis. The comfort of knowing every night you are there to snuggle. The pleasure of your company and attention. The acceptance of faults that I was so unwilling to forgive until I recognized my own. The recollection of memories shared; better than I ever hoped and worse than I could have imagined. But the strength I draw from knowing you were true in them all. Odd that such deep emotion will not allow for creative expression. But then again they need no ornamentation. I can live with that. November 12, 2004 If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

Larry, I concur with Mr. T.! You deserve an A on this love paper! Only a man who is pure of heart, could have written a poem of love such as this. Love & Candle Light, Linda |

very nicely done Sir... tender expression... despite the title... always a pleasure to read you... though I'm guilty of not saying so as often as I should. |

It is a male thing Larry, to often fail to say what we feel (the good things)...something about warriors and hiding feelings. But, it is a golden thing when a man can sit, self examine and come up with a feel of being humble...and knowing that there is a woman there beside us...who loves us, even when we fail to sometimes convey in spades to them. Well said LC... |

If this is unexpressed what would you write if you were expressing yourself? A small novel I think. However, I know what you mean sometimes even when the words are written they are still hard to say. Excellent job with this. Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

Donna, It seems you are qualified to know: "The greatest beauty on earth, is found in the hearts of those who love...." And thank you. Thanks Nancy Lee, That is a pleasant thought. JL, Thank you. Martie, Well you know I just can't seem to do the truly romantic wrtie so figured it was better than not expressing at all. And thank you. Sy, And if I were a student it would be my first A for writing! Thank you sir. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

Hope, Well I know you're right, but it just seemed like it should be expressed so much differently yet it wouldn't come out! And thank you. Linda, Thanks dear lady. I meant every word. Deb, Thank you for your kindness. It is appreciated. Cpat, well now it is an honor to rank such kind words from one of your writing talent. And thank you that made my day. Maree, Thank you sweet friend, very much. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

Elan, Hmmm, I am left speechless. (Trust me that is rare!) And thank you very much. Dixe, Thank you kind friend. Copperbell, You are always so kind, thank you. Alli, You always make my day, thanks. Sue, Thank you kind lady. Sorry I have been unable to read much these days. Hopefully I'll be back online at home soon. You are a dear. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

Magnus, Ain't that the truth. As men and romance go you rank among the best. So your response is very valuable to me. Thanks. Kacy, Yeah! What can we do to fix that? You should know, sis. Tell me, please. Keth, Thank you dear lady. I'm not sure I'm up to date but pray all is well with you. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |
