My room last night was fresh and cool,
With winds whistling thru' the shutters.
Sounds so eerie ~ yet comforting,
As I snuggled under the covers.

With pillows tucked around me,
I felt cuddled and warm and cozy.
All was safe in my downy world,
And I glowed all pink and rosy.

I slipped off to slumber land,
As if floating down a stream.
No cares or worries filled my head
~ Just a night of pleasant dreams.
