You know I pretend to be what I'm not You know I pretend I'm happy You hold me close and warm me From the inside out you heal me But then again it comes to this Her or me and nothing We don't know up nor down And both of us pretend to know what we're doing Stumbling along and leaning on each other It's still her or me But somehow it doesn't even matter Because, like or not, we need each other If only to hold us up. |
