It nears The scent of slumber When all of nature lays to fast Beneath the claim of gemstone wonder My words take frolic in your mind Did you receive that affirmation? Still shy but maybe I Could weave to gold the un-mistakes Concluding worthy conversation Let drift the past, the lessons we were sent to learn The loves that will forever burn, forgiven and held dear It nears Another time to reach and find… Of favorite things to share…I look beyond uncertain stare Undressing velvet gowned insight, and making love the feeling there For I am just a woman made of dreams Without shoes, the snow becomes my bed of white moonbeams And I have yet to learn the dance Set free upon the frosting of romance I hunger for the intimate of fire Every moment spent in the embrace of our desire As sift upon the pain, that peaceful still that comes in every snow To make with him the path our lives will go Creating moments to taste well, the recipe for pleasures in the future dwell It nears His scent in secret pleases understood Made angels in the slide of feel good And he, the snow upon my need, as in the fall of love we feed Copyright Kkh 11/11/04 |

Ah, Kathleen - you actually make me long for the company of winter - and that, my dear friend, is an amazing feat! Hugs - Susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |

Flarrs in the snow...hmmmm, perhaps. You take something as simple as snow and turn it into a banquet for the soul. You excel in this, yanno? |

Definitely worthy of more thought before replying to this one. A beauty of a poem laced with some wonderfully intense images and thoughts. I will be back if that is okay. |

As promised I came back. Just wanted to compliment you on the construction of your works. You have a great command of the English language and your ability to turn a phrase is well polished. I consider you to be a fine poet. |
