mountains wear cotton petticoats dotted with lace eyelets hills glisten with sheets of frosty dew the fabric of our lives chilled as with spray-on snow its power of suggestion invites seeking the glow of hearth the glimmer of a candle’s invitation the convention of fellowship to ease winter’s hold winter’s cold unsurpassed warmth held within friendship ©November 6, 2004 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, I'll seek the lighthouse evermore. great imagery in the end it's not just you with your memories and your scars, fall on me if you ever forget how beautiful you are. |
