The Sounds Of The Sea
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

She’s the only one who writes
and he knows each line by heart.
Remembering the sounds of the sea
he fashions a boat made from paper.
In this way he can return to her
again and again.
She’s more than a face in a photograph.
