                day 240   two days after

                I had a puppet or two
                when I was a kid
                and a marionette as well
                Not many a kid had
                a marionette
                Definitely no one else
                on my block
                had a marionette

                An how those memories
                have come so oddly to life
                We all seem to have one now
                complete with
                hidden handlers

The puppet show will go on for another season...

I can't understand why Pinocchio's nose has not grown, perhaps his animators and he, all have had nose jobs, and the public accepts them as honest, real boys because they do not see the scars? Anyway it looks like the show will go on for four more years. The cabinet of Jeppeto's might change, but those that remain will still have to work his strings.

but where are the strings and who pulls them to make him dance? This is a very timely piece and very thoughtfully written.
