From here, something obstructs infinity, and clouds my vision, making me morose There is all this, that I would truly see, yet barriers keep me from coming close. I hunt and peck, as if, were some lost bird, who clamors at the feeder of the mind. The obvious escapes me, as it were, can there yet be, more left, for me to find ? I gather what I know into a ball. It spins at others' paces, I reflect, were better to know nothing here at all, abandon this pretense of intellect, and be, the one, what others see me as, the simpleton whom everyone should razz. |
