If only, if only, time could know more and stand with a rose outside my front door, a present and gift for pain I’ve withstood during the nights, days, moments, years, of alone needing a hand to hold. If only, if only, time would relax and bask in the bliss of repetitive scenes to feel and believe and simply to know how I have grown through being alone. But never alone time’s been in my heart moving and changing my love energy and keeping alive hope, dreams, desire, for whenever, if ever, time brings to my door not one but more, be it six or just four, red roses, red roses, red roses to speak the words and the feelings I’ve so longed to hear. It the dream of more time stood before all I still can hope, I always will hope, to hear one day a knock on my door but time is strange, it comes and it goes, while I remain here waiting and waiting … to smell the roses! I can't tell you how many times I've thought thoughts very similar to these. Never could pen them so beautifully, though. I'd like to teach time a few things, y'know... Great write! Always, Alyssa He was a man of sorrows |

Thank you both so much for the read. I don't really think time can be taught anything but it sure has taught me so many things that I wouldn't today be without. I'd still like it to go backwards though so I can start all over again better and wiser. |
