Sweet Selma I once knew this girl named Selma Her hair was as black as the night Sweet smelling like a meadow of spring flowers Flowing over mocha colored skin Skin that was softer than the clouds that lace the sky And hotter than the fire that fueled her soul Her eyes Yes! Those eyes I can never forget them Shaped liked diamonds They glittered from all facets With a stare as cool as a winter breeze A mesmerizing glare that freezes the heart Damn, she was sexy! And she knew it She has caused many a man to weep Without saying a word And made the others question their love for another Her smile has started wars among men And brought envy and jealousy upon women Teeth carved from white pearls Lips inviting and colorful As if formed by rose petals Have I mentioned that walk? Smooth and sweet, like warm caramel Graceful as a dancer Confident and strong like a lioness on the prowl Man, oh man! I love this girl She holds my fate in her hands And my heart at her mercy My body shivers when she speaks Hypnotic in the most sensual way A spell if you may Of the strongest incantation Only broken by the reality of my tears Because her heart belongs to another But patience is my virtue and time is my comforter So I will continue to admire her from afar Have I told you about this girl named Selma?
