Whatever the grub on the menu for today to forage taproots that stick in my way I'll dig and gather the crop incessantly when the season's fruits are scarce my senses say build fat stores accumulate for inclement conditions ode to seasonal change renditions I'll hunt, unearth a savory nut return loyally to its burial as other resources are drained probably a mark of one who goes insane accorded only one choice in life..to remain but I move on in this buried and unearthed life have witnessed years of plenty and undo strife have experienced the death of winter chill swift salvage means allows me an even keel... so hunt I will for a savory nut from the vantage point of my town hut. |
