Poets Make Things Happen We birth We feed We live and die Sharing stories Needing Giving Caring On the wind Words Are colorless Fine words Are Never-ending I am, therefore, You, And you, And you While still me I, as you, Am either young Or old Perhaps In-between I, as you, Am Mother father Sister brother a link to yesterday a hope for tomorrow I, as you, Grow cold Or warm Experience pain Or joy Love, and Laugh It matters not My creed or Religion I am, as you are a Poet We can change the world One word At a time It all begins In our heart Mine pumps red As yours does Circle me with Your words Circle the globe With your words Make It happen Now And we will read you. Karilea - if I whisper, will you listen? Keeping in mind, I must stand close...and keep my promises... |

Hello Karilea I applaud you for this fabulous piece of writing which we can all relate to. How wonderful it is that we can share so much of ourselves through our love for the written word. "A poet weaves his words through each verse to create a most beautiful tapestry for us all to admire" -Sue Tancheff- Take care........Sue I am in motion |

It can be hard to tell, you know.....sometimes things that happen, make poets. ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |

I wonder if they who brought us into each other's living room realized how far it would reach...and open the world's palms to us all. Thanx Sun....you are a very vital part of the chain of communications that exists between poets worldwide. |

I am, therefore, You, And you, And you While still me what a simple and delightful way of suggesting how other poets leave traces in our hearts! |
