A little late but nonetheless:

One would like to enjoy the evening
open the door to young goblins
on the phrase trick or treat
but there is always one daemon
who'll slip a blade in an apple
or throw in a rotten apple
parents accompany your kids on the run
keep them far from a real haunting
make sure he doesn't eat the loot
until all the goodies are carried home
important for the grown-up
to inspect the bounty
check the goods that your child collects
make sure the haunted evening
of kids in pointed caps and black cats
ends on a positive note

You got that right! No kids should be out running around on their own tonight, and the drivers need to be extra careful cuz those little demons don't always look before running across the street to the next trick or treat!
I've probably had over 75 kids here already!
