When I have run dry And words litter the page Like broken wings of dragonfly Useless to their intent Yet still bright enough to reflect In part the one moment They held air beneath them As they skimmed with dart Across some meaning Not yet understood Except as syllables shattered On some small intent Will I be so wise As to know the parts can not be glued To some background of colored view And presented as a gift? I will wait this day Along the rocky shore As she, who wore azure summer Now dons grey leaving behind the blue silk ripples to lay quietly under the moon naked eyes forcing themselves to widen and ears to hear the dried leather and brittle boned steps in ghosts of summer green I watch her there and remember her skin was warm when the sun filled sky held clouds that passed without tears and know this season she has doffed pearls for jewelry of hair braided tightly with the mourn Her bed grows cold And my own words empty |

Yet another poem for my library... Your passion for nature always leaves her singing, even if melancholy... |

I love the images woven and the caress of these words - the feel of it - ![]() Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |
