Friendship's Heart, Given Hand

A heart of friendship and smooth polished gold
given eternal to touch and to hold.
A heart of wisdom and truthful advice
beating forever, if once and then twice.

A heart of caring, a heart of pure joy.
One of true sharing, no hidden deploy.
One of pure moments where giggles prevail
and meet in a place of two friends regale.

A voice that shall echo the canyons high
far above soaring a lone eagle’s fly.
Voice ever tender, a delicate touch...
Heard long through the ages, giving this much.

A hand that reaches and comforts at will
leaving true wisdom, in want but to fill.
Taking and guiding along a smooth trail
this hand of friendship...to raise and to hail.
