Heading to China

One life we do lead
One heart does bleed
Everyday slips by so fast
Another pinnacle moment has passed
I remember tomorrow like yesterday
Just another a moment with an emotion I forgot to convey
Today I did borrow
Yet I am not promised tomorrow
Like Atlas I carry the world on my shoulders
While my heart quietly smolders
Why do I let these shackles be
When I know my own words can set me free
My concrete shoes are of my own design
And for that lost love I still do pine
Claiming that I am not strong
However my heart does beat on
These thoughts awaken me
I am only in this place because I chose to be
I feel the weight being lifted
And of a new life I am gifted
For this is my life
No one will pull me from this strife
I must rise up from my knees
I see what the blind man sees
A world full of a possibilities

Tomorrow comes for those who fear it.
Today never ends for those who live it.

Thank You, passing shadows
Thank You, Margherita I am glad that you enjoyed my poem enough to set it a side in your library.
Thank You Alli
Yes LeeJ it is true because everything you do is no longer hindered on looks, so you may find love in the strangest of places.

Tomorrow comes for those who fear it.
Today never ends for those who live it.
