Chalice murmurs forever
Shapes and sizes
Long is the story of an awakening gesture
The touch of echo in clay
Can you see the silence?
Feel its way
New-fangled in your dreams
Winking retreats to the smallest wishful philosophy
Skipping & hop-scotch on marbled harmony
Potential concord, to know the world
Monolith of libraries grabbing the edge of life
The edge of me and you
Streaking swirls of meadow’s dew
Arching frothless syllables, devotional blueprints
Ever-green plunges the world
Veils the hush of white laced snow
The air of pureness…incense
Wonder finding its way
Baptizing moonlight song
Lonely bittersweet music
Silver and gold abloom
Growing limbs of seasons
Touching far away Easters
Rising tides of what it means to be human
Can you come to the still fence of sublime
Amaryllis wanderer drifting me
In quiet smiles of crystal ice
Whisper of personality
Gaslight Mardi Gras beading
Whiskey drinking hymn of morning
Fades into noon pearly sun
Kneeling to a coming day
The newness wrapped in love
Laughing like a silent violin
Lie silent in the happy bells of thought
Invade the space of silence
Where it’s much more then you realized
It is a very daring music of the night

Great write Lee J.  This verse brought back memories of my “Falling Down Drunk” days,
when I was stationed in Grand Isle, Louisiana.
Enjoyed this mucho!

Great write ,the last line is brilliant

New lovers are nervous and tender, but smash everything. For the heart is an organ of fire

Two areas of this poem are near word perfect....

here:
"Ever-green plunges the world
Veils the hush of white laced snow
The air of pureness…incense"

and here:
"Amaryllis wanderer drifting me
In quiet smiles of crystal ice
Whisper of personality"

I do like the messege and form of the rest, but these jumped off the page...

enjoyed

A panopoly of vision, here, and I see
you even managed to squeeze in a bit
of a phantom's touch... ...good job!
