heavy

    of the wait
    the cold still
    coats me
       wears me thin

fragile

    this frozen state
    of my will
    barely
       through my skin

like cold
    to the fire within

Few words but very effective.
Well done.

Keep those inner fires burning! They can melt the ice that threatens to freeze you to the very core.

Sending you a very warm hug!
