tip toe puts on her pretty
like a chain link guitar
my face has tattoos
from the slow dance dreams
she made from useless love songs

she says my shirt fits her fine
with loving gloves
if the buttons are gone
and just the ends are tied
barely there sharing

a sunburn place waiting
for the chance of shadows
to be tanless manned
but not manless tanned
and my hands are her fine wine
unless they bring all of me along

to be her spirit's hard liquor
