Somehow i think they see me;
the sky without definition
connects us,
as our hesitation
at the storm's approach,
takes hold tonight,
with or without
any starwritten prophesies,

their grey paint diluted,
and without a hint of moon
the seque to their secret hidaway
is hidden while they pause,
as we're both held captive
eyeing the tree movements
waiting for clearance again,

somehow i think they see me;

dangling on the same
hopes and uncertainties
for now, we both wait
for the sun salutation,

somehow i believe
our eyes met,
wings in transition,

each feeling
the other's longing.
