Elegance, sleek of head, strong equine physiique. Grace, beauty, purity, myth come to powerful life. White as snow, galloping forward, spiraling sharp horn ahead. Firecly wild, untameable by anything within nature. Pollen and seed blown woodlands, overhung with tangled creeping roses. Beside streams they drink, splashing in the glowing amber sun of dusk. Sweet young green leaves of saplings, eaten under faded saphire blue of twilight. Meeting their life partners in spring, tenderly they join, gently they love. Reeking, stinking lakes, purified by the sacred point. Dipped into the murk, fresh, life giving water flourishes. Under lunar light they glow still, unbowed, wilder and swifter than the wind. Through light splintered woodland, in the newly woken morning light, they canter in grace. Love comforteth like sunshine after rain. (William Shakespeare.) |
