Listening to every heart

0 posted 2005-02-03 10:49 PM

Yes, the Poet Knows

In a heartbeat of sharing, the poet felt…
And talked, to share, compassion

Like fireworks, the poet’s words did melt
And forever I will remain, impassioned.

~*~

I thank the poet who entered from time
To share a word, to spark remind
That me and mine were not forgotten, no,
And that we should carry on, just so…

This Poet learned the truth, then said, with plea
“Let me give my prayers to you and thee…”
So let me thank you, my Poet, dear…
That you have heard me, and made it clear…

No matter what we seek to hide?
Poets know, from deep inside.
For no matter what we think of prayer,
God’s seeds will always carry us there.

Karilea - if I whisper, will you listen?  Keeping in mind, I must stand close...and keep my promises...

This is so beautiful Kari...
Such an amazing lady, and I know she'll continue to be amazing in the lords home. Just when I think I am ok, i find myself crying again. She has touched so many people and so deeply too. I will miss her.

As you've written, "Poets know" and she was one I am so very very glad that I had the opportunity to know and to know as one who was so very extraordinarily passionate about her love and faith not only for God but also for me as a person. Thank you for sharing. I so enjoyed reading. -Bob

She dwells in the light now and her poems showed that she knew about this light ....

Very beautiful, warm words, dear Karilea.

Karilea, I just read the thread announcing our special Dove has flown back home.  I am so touched by your poem, and my eyes are tearing now, for Becky touched all of us in her inspirational ways.  I will miss her spirit gracing my eyes through her emails that always arrived just when I needed a pick-me-up; we still have her special touch here in her words on the special pages.  Thanks for writing this....I'm really at a loss for words.
