The hand that held the pen,
The mind that set the words,

Never thinking,
that what was in my mind,
would ever make much sense,
to anyone.

The first poem,
Done by a shaking hand,
A thoughtful mind,
And a loving heart.

Only to find the response was grand,
Each day to find one more.

My heart was filled with love and caring,
my mind not understanding,
the full power of the pen.

To all of you here yesterday,
today and the tomorrows to come,
If I can only let you in,
to how happy I've become.

The words thank you just doesn't seem enough,
too all a thanks,
for the words you left with me,
and helping me along the way.

To the future and hopes to many more to come.

                  Thank you again.

Krystal Joy...

Your name has always enhanced your persona.  I know how hard it is for you to take pen in hand to write a list or a note, and how well you do, just in memory, alone!  That you are working so hard to fight your problem keeps me smiling all of the time.  Even when you have to find ways to work around it.

You have always had the heart of a poet...I have seen it always in your photography and interaction with people.  Honey, as you can...write, and share...

I know the poets here will love you as you are, just as I always have.

Your one & only
Mom

P.S.  I think you're about to be adopted by a lot of cousins, sisters, brothers, aunts and uncles.

A WOW right back atcha...
It's great to have you here,
And good to see that you're feeling at home.
You write wonderfully,
and did I hear that you like photography as well?
Very cool! So do I...

Always, Alyssa

Well now dear girl, perhaps you have another home. Whatever you do don't stop writing...

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

This was truly beautiful, One & Only!     And your mom is right...you write as only you can and let your own style inspire people...because what you have is amazing!  Welcome to PiP and I am looking forward to reading more of your thoughts!

Oh, and don't worry about your mom posting your full name.   At least you know that the name God has for you is still a secret, right!?

Hugs, m'friend!!

Becka

p.s.  Keeping this one!

I'd better join the other male so that you well know you are welcomed by all. You've put a warm and well-thought poem together.  Here's applause and request for many more.  KJ
