Just when I thought everything was fine They said she was gone, it was her time The only one I could turn to with anything No more joy to my life she will bring Crying until there were no tears to cry I Wanted so much to just lay down and die Still fighting each day to get to tomorrow Under a blanket that's made of sorrow Someday soon all the pain will end I miss her so much, my mama, my friend Tears are cried and leave a stain When hearts give up and end the pain For my mama Loyce 7-19-41 to 7-16-02 |

I think everyone feels for you on this. No matter how you think you are ready for it, you are never ready and some times it can take a while to come. You are feeling the pain but in a way, may be it is better now that to have it built up. Take care and you will always find friends here. Dave |

It never stops hurting, does it? I am sorry about your mom, itmust have been really hard to lose her at such a young age. My mama was the only one I had, my "father" is a pedifile. So loosing her made it that much harder. |

this touches me. I lost my own mother at the age of eighteen months and my father was both parents to us. Having not really known her I find it amazing how still it leaves an ache. Very well done. |

Some things we never recover from, just incorporate the grief into a somewhat drained and diminished existence. A fine tribute to your mother. Welcome to PIPs! Poets against the war is redundant |

Thank you Dave & Gentle Spirit A person can never have enough friends. My mama loved poetry, (especially mine) a little prejudice I know, but she always enjoyed reading it anyway. |

oh sweet child, you have come to the right place to heal, but wounds like that leave scars, and when you just notice the scar and remember a good memory, and know she is always with you then the scars just become a place where one touched you, i never had a mom, she ran around, then took off when i was 11, left me with alcoholic womanizing abusive dad. just dont keep it inside, biggest mistake i made, it haunts you forever, i am just learning to get it out, little at a time, and learning forgiveness, keep love and forgiveness in your heart, and the pain wont take over, but you got to grieve, get angry, get sad, get it all out, sorry for rambling on~ just write it all out and there are so many good hearted angels here when ever you need one |

Tears are cried and leave a stain When hearts give up and end the pain very true... when someone we love dies, even tears could not wash away the pain...a good write, im sure your mom would be very proud. |
