Once upon a windless winged moment, my heart flew away within a papered prayer. I searched for you in every returned floating word, seeking a passionate heart beat. But you were only a midnight dream. Facing into the brisk cold breeze upon my knees, I sought the real of true love’s feel, delirious passion to steady this ship on an even keel. But you were only my midnight scream. Into the setting sunset I swiftly sailed away, never looking back upon that dreary day from whence I wandered forever wondering why ...you weren’t there except in a dream of blue sky. |
