walking the surreal

my little haven
shall soon be dressed
in spring green drape
as dew soft meadow
with willow boughs weeping
newly wrought melody

colorful sprites shall dance
in yellow daffodil corsets
and tulip red gowns
laced in delicate lilac tatting
finger tips uplifting
tracing ray spun gold

then shall my heart cry joyous
shedding gray cast sorrows
redeemed and resplendent
in sun lit sentience
cowering no longer
but strutting and bold

oh, Flora! come quickly
to waltz upon my lea
let your butterflies frolic
along pansy sewn streams
and across buttercup seas
let your fairy spun magic
wash a spell over me

If I wander far enough, long enough, will I finally know . . .

Mmm - am longing for barefeet and soft green grass - not to mention warmth -

Thanks Kevin -

standing there watching her
dancing her charms
barefoot godiva
with the spring song
as her woman music

her speaks to her eyes

"ya'll gonna be long
I gotta mow this @#%7^
before lunch or the city will
can my ass"

Susan you a a very talented poet, I read your poems alot but I don't reply as often as I should...by the way..I am very fond of the little ones myself.

I like how you did your photo...very mysterious..or fantasy like...
