Copyright and inspiration to Wordsworth but who wouldn’t acknowledged a source. Problem with irony is you have to get the audience ready. So oft a gentle flow I have For an audience I can find I look with the inner sense Fox always comes to mind And so I lie on myself And help The boots Help Themselves To tread on gentle minds That believes In an image The illuminates Poor souls Watching flowers As they grey old And soft feet Are a dream But I never encouraged them That they and I never would be in the dark I'd never hide beneath the silk To what The wicked words Would talk and hark In fashions dark Of customed friends What words they would whisper To what end That spoke of trust ennobled Crown Of one who feels his words Dumbed down Treated beyond the miles of own Dying for his words On seeds He never saw the need In woman sown Moving feet To understand inches To drive Worlds and words In distant smells Of must and can And bagatelle So upon my couch I lie In vacant or in pensive mood Everyone knows my eye Is not invited Here I stew Until I turn the cooker off And prepare another sauce That titillates a mind And taste buds But of course Dave |

Was drawn in by the title and smiling at the ending - enjoyed Susan If I wander far enough, long enough, will I finally know . . . |

MGROVES nice Thanks Marsha. Dave A Romantic Heart Woodsworth would have been proud...loved the whole piece.... flowed liked a river into my soul~ ~ARH Thanks Romantic Maybe I should go back to my roots but those were Thomas Hood and I dont think he is "PC" in these days. Dave LeeJ well, you have certainly impressed on us...the expertise of your mind...gloriously enjoyable read...well done, my friend...by the way...how are you? Surviving Lee. In depth gut stuff I have virtually abandoned. It was taking too much out of me. Light flowing stuff I can still write. Dont know if it is block, I just knew it was extremely painful trying to rip the words out for in-depth words. Jean bought me some of the real Ginseng stuff I used to get abroad and that has brightened her up on what she took, while I am still working on it, but 2000mg for me was probably a bit excessive in one swig. Take care Lee Dave |

"So upon my couch I lie In vacant or in pensive mood Everyone knows my eye Is not invited Here I stew Until I turn the cooker off And prepare another sauce That titillates a mind And taste buds But of course" . Understanding. I have had days when my mind took me that way. Great expression Dave. JL |
