SHIFTING GEARS ~ Linda L. Dowd ~ I’m up an at ‘em! ~ All crises passed! Looks like I am going to last! There’s much to see and much to do! I’m feeling great ~ new attitude! My health is back ~ I’m doing well! I’m back in heaven! Good bye to hell! The sun is shining ever so bright! Hello, sunshine! Adios dark night! I’ve been tried ~ true and tested! Kept my faith in God invested! I never let my smile fade. I’m back in step with life’s parade! My body's weak ~ but my heart is strong! My mind's been positive all along. Through all the pain and loss and sorrow, I've known there'd be a bright tomorrow! A lesson lived ~ is a lesson learned! I’ve been battered and I’ve been burned! But love and hope kept me alive! ~ Now just watch me fly and thrive! |
