it was a little sad: you, telling stories of sometime when things weren't like this. you were a glass, half empty... singing nostalgic in blue and grey. you cried, lost in clouds and puddles and useless dreams. a spider, your web torn, dripping from the rain. home was resting at your feet... and you were a glass, half empty. He was a man of sorrows ...I am a girl of tears. [This message has been edited by GG (01-28-2005 02:18 AM).] |

you were a glass, half empty... singing nostalgic in blue and grey. Your title choice is perfect... I liked this very much! *S* |

You write melancholy here very very well. I liked the part about the spider's web. Poor little spider, but spiders are pretty industrius aren't they....? Soooooo, I guess, now, I don't feel too bad. (Smiles) -Bob |

suthern, I'm glad you think so Thank you much! Gentle Spirit, wow, thanks! I'd disagree, but still, thanks. I hope most of your days don't begin so melancholy... Always, Alyssa He was a man of sorrows |

Dix, as are you. Sue, good to hear from you. I hope things are well for you. And thank you for reading and commenting. You take care, as well... Bob, is that what it takes to be optomistic? Yikes, I don't think I can do it! I'm much better at melancholy lol ...maybe someday, though. Thanks for your reply, sir! He was a man of sorrows |

Marge, it's weird to look at my writing when I started here and look at it now. While I know I'm far from being a good writer, I can still see how far I've come, and it's pretty exciting. I'm still just writing to get it off my chest, though. But that's alright with me lol ...Thanks for having been there through it all. Take care, dear lady. Always, Alyssa He was a man of sorrows |
