Dropping words into
silence -

Poems disappear.

And only echoes reach the
fingers.

Fading even as they
touch the page.

Yes, exactly. All my poems feel that way to me lately, and worse, I feel they really don't reach the few people who read them here, or touch so few in the way I intended, that I may as well not have written them. Though it's schadenfreude I have to admit I do feel a bit of comfort in knowing someone else feels it too~~ and says it so well.

This may be an echo, but it's a great echo.
