Forever In Your Heart

Two souls meet,
searching through the darkness,
Their love, a light, glowing within their hearts,
Shines forth across the miles of loneliness,

Miles that separate only their bodies,
For their minds, souls, and their hearts meet,
Every night underneath the same sky, the same moon,

She hears the words to his lovely tune,
The tune of his heart, playing the part,
Of his sad, sorrowful cry, longing for her by his side,

He thinks of her with every thought, every memory,
Her words bare such  love and truth,
like no one he has ever knew,
She cannot escape his mind,
his heart has spread it's wings,
flying to the one ever so true,

Someday, somehow, they will meet face to face,
eye to eye, feel eachothers embrace,
Soul meeting soul, joined together forever,
Their souls will combine to one,
Leaving their bodies without a trace,

Joined into eternity,
a soulmates resting place...

Come, love all of me, mind, body, spirit..feel my passion, taste of me, be filled completely!

"Their souls will combine to one,
Leaving their bodies without a trace,"

Well, yes, that is how it works; this loss of self terrifies most personalities at the moment of real choice.

Clearly an inspired write.

I wish you well, and the safety of eternity.

In comparisen, Love can make the world seem like such a very very small place as so indicated in your poem... (Sigh)

This is so beautiful and so encourageing I think especally for those here at this site who do have and enjoy long distance retationships. Thank you for sharing. -Bob

Stumbled across this and thought I would bump it back to the top again. Still love this. You have not been posting lately and missing your writings. Are you okay?
