The Parable of the Three Cows (inspired from a Terry Pratchett book) 1. A Cow kicked a pregnant woman. Two women came to help. It was a land owned by Sons and a woman knew it would be a Son. The first went to speak to the husband and the second said, “they need the Cow and his wife will bear again”. The first said, “We should ask the husband”. The second said, “Do you hate him that much” 2. The husband was consulted and said, “put wire around the cows so they don’t stray and save my wife. 3. The husband was consulted and said, “save my wife, find why the Cow is injured and much as my feelings are, I need both” and I need to know why my wife was injured and why the Cow kicked. The parable Don’t act until you know and don’t judge on sexual attitudes. Don’t decide that you know what people might do. Find out what is going on first before you react and don’t over-react. And the fourth parable as there is always one: Don’t box people up so their only way out is upwards unless of course you have planned it that way for re-election. And of course the fifth – think before you believe an Author. |

Judgments can be hard and overbearing to the judged. But, DavePage, sometimes the natural order of things needs to be examined as fact, and not as a demeanor of life. Enjoyed your conclusions. I’ll do a search on Terry Pratchett, sounds interesting. JL |
