hanging magnets upside down
from a glass
I slipknot the metal
with my mind mouth
wondering if you
would be pretty
in a coif and bustier

you never smile when you kiss me
only before and after
and more often in my thoughts
than you have time for
you ask why I grin
like a little boy
zipper down blushing

and was I hoping you would notice
that you wear my eyes
more than your own
yes please, I was
and do and hope you know
your skin makes things bad
for the good angel

on my shoulder
he says he should have been
born blind instead
but he has a job to do
just whispering to me
and he hates the night time
and those dreams I have

and how you love to abuse him

she remembered
the bicycle man,
an angel perhaps
drifting strangely by

a cutout framed
against the cloudy sky

outside their imported grotto
where winter held no sway
and time was reduced
to febrile lips
and flannel sighs

leaving rincon's charms
the hardest thing to recall.

memory wears leather
with the zipper part way down
so you have to look deep
to see beyond the shadows

and you just smiled
when I asked you
to untie my hands

thank you indisan
