Perhaps you see me in some hound’s-tooth twill On which two suede and oval emblem’s claim My elbows must be muffled from their shrill, Pretentious and (you must think) haughty aim Of ostentatious flourishes I muse Upon in pipe smoked ball and clawed wing chairs, Surrendering plain spoken words to choose Yacht taught ego-testical bought airs Or worse, that I desire to here acquaint Unsuspecting others to some plot, Ruse, canard or something else I ain’t, Assumptions Sir I’ll have you know are rot, Surrendering to nothing but the words Such is my motivation undeterred Poets against the war is redundant |

Well the image was kind of cool actually - you in a Ralph Lauren blazer, with a pipe. You might then do your hand-writing of poetry in a soft Hermes' leather journal with your Mont Blanc, instead of scraps of paper, and stubs of HB3's Somehow I think the poetry would not be near as good. I sure liked this one, can you tell? I have people who assume myself, and when they do I sure make it worth their while. Carpe' Diem |

I'm so guilty, and what a price I paid. This is a stark message and delivered with brutal honesty, so I'll suck it up, even though it hurts. I thank you for indulging me, RSWells. |

I think I've missed something - but not the well written sharp edge of this - Susan If I wander far enough, long enough, will I finally know . . . |

"Assumptions Sir I’ll have you know are rot, Surrendering to nothing but the words Such is my motivation undeterred" Should you be punished for fluency, for elegance even? I say Rot! You have studied and you have written, and all the while taught others. I say thank you sir for being you, you are words and ideas and thought, and not with ease did you live your life. But your having lived it your way,you have become a man of words. marty |
