Life’s Web

I lay on my bed
Looking up at the corners
Of my square room
They’re filled with cob webs,
Showing a bugs lost life.

How can this
Have anything to do with me?
I’ve been caught in a web,
For the last 2 months,
Stuck in the goo,
Unable to move
Struggling and tiring,
Every new day brings
Another cob web battle.

I’ll eventually just give up,
Though I don’t want to…
My life will be lost,
I’ve put forth all energy,
And there isn’t an ounce left.

Just like the bugs,
I’m caught in a web,
Though this one is the web of
Life!

I dont really know if I like this, but it is what it is, lol. Tell me what you think and if it makes sense at all...

I liked the style of this write Bailey...
The flow was good, and the meter also.
It's really difficult to put this feeling into words, and you did it with grace.
Enjoyed your poem.

Thanks guys! I really didn't think the flow was very good, so I wasn't sure how ppl would like it. Its just that for a long time now I've been fed up w. things, but can't say anything about them b.c I know I will fly out of control & dont want to hurt the ppl I would say things to (my parents). At the end of every day I just wanna lie down, close my eyes, and have everything back to where it used to be & be happy w. life.... I guess thats where this write came from.
