The Light Continues

They say it curves at lengths where numbers fail,
past sparkling stars, beyond the infinite
where minds see only dark, and failing quail
before the thought of distance read as time.
Still it may find those regions at the rim,
the rays from heathen torches reach and warm
dark matter at the brink of Night, too dim
for eyes to read the heat where it began;
or arching further still return, complete
the ring and warm this place again.

LOL... I borrowed a technique from a friend of mine... the chance to be first responder is rare... and treasured. *G*

And... how could I hurry when you've given so much to enjoy and ponder? *S* Your internal rhymes are so smooth they're almost invisible... but... they add to a perfect whole. *S*

This one a "discovery" of sorts -- when I first joined PIP, I didn't post everything I wrote, but I thought I'd eventually gotten around to it.....this one written a couple of weeks after I joined, two years ago today.

I have looked into my (brand new!) crystal ball...and I see a prospecting expedition in my near future.....
