the night
the fear of god
was placed in me
i knew not then
the darkness
nor the journey
for which i begin
i recall the giants
watchers
was the word
spirit broken
unable to fly as bird
chaos always
around
keeping one's heart
in chains
bound
footsteps throughout
many a night
dreams of cages
holding two
screams to wake
knowing this can't
be right
awake in a dream
as if for real
the creatures i saw
senses the will
so many tests
souls never rest
dont let in hate
keep love as
hearts gate
set ones soul
free
knowledgegift given
by thee
wisdom
words thou hast spoken
unto thee
