Tim Rice lyrics: "Is it written in the stars Are we paying for some crime Is that all that we are good for Just a stretch of mortal time Is this God's experiment In which we have no say In which we're given paradise But only for a day?" *and my thoughts this day?* If only for another day I stay, will the game still mine to play by the rules I choose or shall I lose? I say nay... if only for one more day I stay I shall insist on doing things my way. But even if the rules should be modified to suit another's agenda? I shall exit on my own terms, and by this I do not mean by my own hands, but with a smile on my face and a song in my heart, praising and thanking my God and Mother Nature for the bounties I did receive while I was given a chance to dance in life day-by-day. (just some thoughts that went through my mind today after reading that Johnny Carson passed away, for he surely lived life his way) |

thank you for reading, Maree and there are many times when I feel the same, that I function best while by myself but then, I miss the interaction with other minds and hearts and so I always gravitate back to the collective while keeping my inner space as free as possible |
