A. A gaggle of geese flew high on the wing, But instead of a Vee, they flew in an Ess. Now what can explain this peculiar thing? The gaggle's lead goose, is dyslexic I guess. B. A covey of quail was in wheat field's stubble, A hunter was hunting, which spelled out quail trouble, But then came meandering, between hunter and quail, A black and white creature, with long bushy tail, The hunter U-turned, now who would have thunk, That that there quail covey, would get saved by a skunk. C. A turtle was crossing the highway one night, When he got spotlighted in a semi's head light, Was the turtle a goner, would he get eighteen wheeled? When all the sudden, the semi's wheels squealed. It seems that truck's driver had fallen a sleep, And the truck drifted sideways, down an embankment real steep. The turtle kept crossing, safe and sound in his shell, And the poor semi-driver, took a detour to Wellington. |
